HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- A man has been arrested and charged with his uncle's murder at a METRO bus stop last month.
Houston police say Jacque Malveaux, 41, was arrested on Monday.
Shawn Malveaux's family said he had just left a Popeye's on Aug. 26 when he was shot twice at a bus stop on West Bellfort near Gessner.
The shooter had his face obscured, police said.
Last week, Malveaux's sister told Eyewitness News she suspected her brother knew his killer based on the way he reacted in surveillance video detectives had described to her.
"We are completely and utterly shocked," the victim's sister, Lashona Guillory, told Eyewitness News Tuesday. "As a family, we are enraged and want the same justice to be served for him just as if he were a stranger."
In addition to the murder charge, Jacque Malveaux is also facing two counts of unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon. His bond is set at $180,000.
