HPD homicide called after human remains found along SW Houston railroad, officials say

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- Human skeletal remains were found along a southwest Houston railroad on Friday morning, according to the Houston Police Department.

HPD said Union Pacific found the remains between the railroad and roadway at 14900 South Main Street.

The HPD homicide unit was called to the scene around 9 a.m., officials said.

There is no additional information about the case at this time.
