Man shot while driving in northwest Harris County, officials say

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas (KTRK) -- A man was shot while driving driving in northwest Harris County Thursday morning, according to the Harris County Sheriff's Office.

Authorities said that a 25-year-old man called 911 at about 6:30 a.m. after he was shot.

The man, who was at the Fallbrook exit and the 10900 block of Sam Houston Parkway, was able to drive safely and park, officials said.

Authorities said the victim was taken to a nearby hospital and is said to be stable.

Detectives said they are waiting for the man to recover to gather more details about the incident.
