Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee suspends campaign

Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee is ending his presidential bid.

The Republican candidate announced his decision via a tweet that said, "I am officially suspending my campaign. Thank you for all your loyal support. #ImWithHucK"

The tweet followed reports by major media outlets that projected Texas Sen. Ted Cruz as the winner of the Iowa caucuses tonight. About an hour earlier, Democrat Martin O'Malley has suspended his presidential campaign.
