FBI looking for "Subzero Suspect" accused of armed bank robbery in southeast Houston

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- Investigators are looking for a man dubbed the "Subzero Suspect" accused of robbing a southeast Houston bank at gunpoint, the FBI said.

According to the FBI, the robbery happened on Jan. 27 at about 9:05 a.m. at the Frost Bank located at 9990 Almeda-Genoa Road.

Authorities said the "Subzero Suspect" entered the bank and displayed a black handgun before demanding that the bank employees lie on the ground at gunpoint. The suspect then stole an undisclosed amount of cash and fled the bank on foot, the FBI said.

Officials said no one was injured during the robbery.

The FBI Violent Crime Task Force released photos of the suspect and asked the public for help in identifying and locating him. Authorities said the suspect wore a lime green ski mask, a gray jacket, black pants, black shoes, and white gloves during the robbery.

A reward of up to $5,000 is being offered by Crime Stoppers of Houston for information on the suspect's identity and arrest.
