THE WOODLANDS, Texas (KTRK) -- Emergency crews are investigating a call for a lake rescue in The Woodlands on Saturday morning, authorities said.

According to the Woodlands Fire Department, crews responded to Northshore Park, located at 2505 Lake Woodlands Dr.

Ironman Texas signs were posted around the lake. The Ironman Texas race is happening Saturday morning, with the event's starting line near Northshore Park. ABC13 has not received any information from Texas Ironman officials if the event is connected to the incident.
