Custom lowriders cruising in 2026 Art Car Parade

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- The Art Car parade returns to downtown Houston on Saturday, April 11. For nearly four decades, lowriders have been a staple of the parade.

From the shine of the paint to the movement of the hydraulics, lowriders stand out as art in motion.

In the video above, ABC13 spoke with three owners featured in the parade, Danny Moreno, Tommy Moreno, and Victor Jimenez, each with their own story to tell.

The 39th annual Houston Art Car Parade, presented by Team Gillman, will feature over 250 art cars and other entries from 23 states, in addition to international vehicles from Canada and Mexico.
