Construction worker hit by 2 cars while driving tractor in southeast Houston, HPD says

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- A construction worker was taken to the hospital after being hit by two drivers in southeast Houston on Wednesday, according to police.

The Houston Police Department said the crash happened just before 8 a.m. along Cullen Boulevard. An officer at the scene told ABC13 the incident involved a Kubota tractor and two cars.

Police said a worker was operating the tractor on the road before being hit by two drivers, who reportedly stayed at the scene.

The worker was taken to the hospital with minor back injuries, HPD said.

Authorities did not release additional information about the crash, but an investigation is underway.
