Conroe woman accused of running wellness business without medical license, police say

CONROE, Texas (KTRK) -- A woman in Conroe was arrested after police say she was running a wellness business without having a medical license.

This is part of an investigation that's been going on for more than a year.

Conroe police say after getting several complaints, they were able to arrest her during an undercover operation.

Gina Torma, 54, has been charged with a third-degree felony for medical practice act with physical harm.

According to the Conroe Police Department, she was running a business called Glow Aesthetic and Wellness out of this building along North Rivershire Drive.

Police say there was an active warrant for her arrest after an investigation dating back to February 2024.

After receiving multiple complaints about her practices, the police department says officers were able to go undercover and arrest her just a couple of days ago.
