Demir has a true passion for STEM, taking every advanced course available and participating in various design challenges as a NASA High School Aerospace Scholar. He serves as an ambassador for the Lone Star Flight Museum, where he has volunteered over 270 hours. Demir also mentors fellow students through Mu Alpha Theta, the National Honor Society, and the Chess Club. Outside of STEM, he actively participates in his school's business club, where his team recently won a national Junior Achievement Organization competition.
