HARRIS COUNTY, Texas (KTRK) -- An Alvin man has been charged with online solicitation of a minor after an investigation was launched when he allegedly bragged about exposing himself to Amazon drivers and neighbors, according to Harris County Precinct One Constable Alan Rosen.
On Thursday, deputies say that 54-year-old Pedro Solis was arrested near Pearland after the investigation by Harris County Constable Precinct One's Internet Crimes Against Children Unit.
According to authorities, investigators began their extensive investigation in August 2025. Deputies accuse Solis of sending sexually explicit messages to someone he believed to be a 15-year-old girl, but was really an undercover detective posing as a minor.
According to Pct. 1, Solis sent messages that he was sitting in his driveway naked while waiting for an Amazon driver to deliver a package. Deputies added that he allegedly sent the detective a photo of himself from the waist down, court records revealed.
Records also indicate that Solis went on to mention Amazon deliveries multiple times over the next several months in explicit conversations. According to investigators, Solis sent messages saying "I'm waiting on Amazon with my package" and "The delivery girl gonna get a surprise when she see me ... I'm inside, but my window blinds are open."
Deputies say Solis was making plans to meet with the detective who was posing as a high school student while on summer vacation. According to officials, he also mentioned waiting for an Amazon driver on the morning of his arrest.
Pearland Police assisted Harris County Precinct One with the arrest.
