
HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- At least one man is dead, and two others were injured following an apparent shooting in northeast Houston overnight, according to investigators.
The Houston Police Department said officers responded to the 7400 block of Lavender Road near Lockwood.
Officials said two men were found injured in the middle of the road with gunshot wounds. Both were taken to the hospital, but officials did not elaborate on their conditions.
Another man was found shot at the scene, but HPD said he was pronounced dead.
Police said they have yet to determine what led up to the shootings, and did not say if all were involved.
No shell casings were found at the scene, and officials said they are looking into the matter.
