3 injured after UTV crashes into Atascocita-area bayou, Harris County Pct. 4 officials say

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas (KTRK) -- Three people, including two children, were injured Monday after a utility terrain vehicle crashed into a bayou in the Atascocita area, authorities said.

The crash happened in the 16900 block of Shrub Oak Drive, between the Atascocita Acres and Atascocita Forest subdivisions, according to the Harris County Precinct 4 Constable's Office.

Two of the injured were taken by ambulance; a third declined treatment, officials said.

Atascocita Fire Department, Precinct 4 deputies, and Humble Fire Department medical units all responded.
