HB 2739 requires businesses to accept a concealed handgun license as proof of identification. It does not supersede federal law for air travel.
HB 1396 requires law enforcement to obtain a warrant before searching a person's cellular phone or other wireless communications device.
HB 2246 will allow some with suspended driver's license due to a DWI to drive in certain circumstances if they purchase and install interlock ignition devices in their vehicles.
HB 2398 decriminalizes truancy for students who fail to attend school.
SB 481 limits "surprise" medical billing from facility based physicians, allows for mediation in certain circumstances
HB 104 allows for hairdressers to legally work on site at weddings or other functions away from their salons
SB 374 prohibits undocumented workers from gaining employment in state government
The new state budget, which takes effect September 1, does not provide cancer screening funds for health clinics that also provide abortions.
