HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A police chase has ended with the suspect crashing into several parked vehicles in a northeast Houston neighborhood.
The crash happened on Sulky Trail near Imperial Valley, just south of Aldine Bender near the North Beltway.
Preliminary information from officials is that a Harris County Sheriff's deputy tried to pull over the driver of an Xterra when he took off.
The chase topped 100 miles per hour on the freeway before the crash with the parked cars.
The SUV mangled one of those parked vehicles, but no one was seriously hurt.
The suspect was captured by deputies. We do not know why deputies were trying to pull over the driver.
