Paul Simon holds impromptu concert at Jones Hall

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Local music fans got a very special surprise -- an unannounced performance by Paul Simon.

Steve Martin and the Steep Canyon Rangers featuring Edie Brickell had a show Thursday night at Jones Hall.

But after the show, Paul Simon came on stage and performed a couple of songs.

Afterwards, the crowd gave him standing ovation.
