HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- One of the victims in the Haverstock Hill shooting is reliving the night her life changed forever.

Brandy Rusher, a former contestant on "America's Next Top Model," told ABC13 that she remembered two gunmen making their way up the stairwell last month.

Her 6-month-old boy was asleep at the time.

"They never said anything, they just kept shooting," Brandy said.

Her brother, Wayne Rusher, and friend, Christopher Beatty, were identified by authorities as the victims who died in the shooting.

"I literally can say I saw my brother get shot, my best friend get shot in front of me, and I saw Chris drop and my brother take his last breath," Brandy said. "He was shot in his jaw so he was holding on to his face. I saw this with my own eyes as I lay there in a pool of blood."

Kenneth Emmitt Jones and Harvey Jones have been charged in connection with the murders.

"It's sad you would shoot a woman who was telling her brothers and her best friend to go upstairs. I was trying to stop it, not be a part of it," Brandy added.
