HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Two men are behind bars after leading Houston police on an early morning chase.
The chase began when the driver of a Ford F-150 pickup refused to pull over after the vehicle came back as stolen. Officers pursued the vehicle for several blocks before the truck crashed through a fence at Emancipation Park on Tuam at Hutchins.
Both men inside the truck abandoned the vehicle and ran into the park.
The driver was taken into custody a few blocks away, while his passenger was found inside a park building and arrested.
Both face multiple charges.
