Sketch released in deadly guard shooting
Authorities are hoping to find suspect who fatally shot an armored truck guard

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Investigators released a composite sketch of one of the suspects who murdered a Brinks armored car guard last month.

The FBI and Houston Police are hoping the public can help them identify the killer who they say "ambushed and executed" Brinks guard Alvin Kinney in front of a Galleria area bank in the 5700 block of Westheimer on February 12.

A Brinks armored guard team was making a delivery at Capital One bank when at least three armed assailants wearing body armor and face-shield masks approached Kinney and opened fire.

A second Brinks guard returned fire as the assailants backed up a stolen truck and stole several bags of cash.

A reward of $100,000 has been offered for information leading to the arrest and identification of the masked gunmen.

Anyone with information is asked to call 1-800-CALL-FBI or Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
