Man surrenders after SWAT standoff; hostages unhurt

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- An hours-long hostage standoff in southwest Houston ended with a man surrendering peacefully.

Police say a man walked into a home around 7pm and held a woman and two children hostage at a home on Trigate near Chimney Rock.

The SWAT team was called in and the man surrendered after about three hours.

The woman and children were not hurt.

The man is facing multiple charges.
