Worker rescued at downtown construction site
The rescue happened at Walker at Avenida de las Americas

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A worker was rescued at a construction site this afternoon after suffering heat exhaustion.

The worker was on a scaffolding about 20 feet off the ground at a building under construction near Walker and Avenida de las Americas. Fire crews were able to bring the man safely to the ground. He was then transported to a local hospital.

We are told that worker is stable.
