A fierce storm lashing Australia's southeast washed homes away, left dozens stranded and may be responsible for at least three deaths, officials said.
The storm has dumped more than a foot of rain in some areas -- with rain pounding Sydney and parts of New South Wales since Monday.
Additionally, wind gusts of more than 60 miles per hour were reported.
In Dungog, New South Wales, a house could be seen being swept away in the flood waters.
At Sydney's Bondi Beach, the wind whipped sand into a skate park.
