GALVESTON, TX (KTRK) -- The woman who spread joy with her little mystery gifts in Galveston Island has come forward.
Artist Rachel Stokes has hidden more than 240 hearts for strangers to find.
"Leave gifts around for people to find? Wow. It's just amazing," gift recipient John Bison told Eyewitness News back in March.
Stokes is creates artwork in fused, mosaic and mixed media for clients in the U.S. and internationally. She also teaches mosaics, mixed media and motivational workshops from her home studio in Pasadena and from her Galveston cottage.
She started leaving behind little white package with a bow for strangers to help spread her message of "receive, love, share."
"Kindness and then when you feel that kindness you go out and do something kind for someone else," Stokes told Eyewitness News before.
