Dwight Howard had a bone marrow aspirate injection on his right knee. He will begin rehabilitation & will be re-evaluated in 4 weeks.— Houston Rockets (@HoustonRockets) February 4, 2015
Howard's knee injury was expected to take him out of the game around a month. ESPN reports a fluid buildup in the knee prompted the Rockets to rule Howard out of this past weekend's trip to Detroit and Boston.
ESPN also reports today's procedure was conducted by Dr. Walt Lowe of Houston's Memorial Hermann Sports Medicine Institute.
