2 treated for burns after house fire in northeast Houston

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Two people were treated for minor burns after a house fire in northeast Houston this morning.

The fire happened in the 4600 block of Leffingwell near Cavalcade around 9:30am.

The front of the home was in flames when firefighters arrived, but the fire has since been put out. The living room was heavily damaged.

The cause of the fire is being investigated.
