BAYTOWN, TX (KTRK) -- A Baytown man faces capital murder in the double slaying of two teenagers more than ten years ago.
Baytown Police said David Lee Sanchez, 32, confessed to shooting the two teenagers, Fernando Salinas, 19 and Juan Grimaldo, 19, at the Village Lane Apartments on September 11, 2004. Lee Sanchez's brothers Pedro Sanchez, 31, and Jason Sanchez, 35, have also been detained.
"I was only 9 years old. I was still a baby to find out my brother, my oldest brother, had died," said Grimaldo's sister Diana Hargrave at a press conference Friday.
"My brother left behind a son which he never got to meet his father, he was only two," said Salina's sister Sandra Salinas.
