New trailer for 'Moana' provides glimpse into action-packed oceanic adventure

Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson introduced a new trailer for Disney's Moana on Good Morning America Thursday, giving an in-depth look at the gorgeous animation and charismatic characters in the adventure tale.

Moana follows the story of Moana (voiced by newcomer Auli'i Cravalho), a daring 16-year-old who goes on a voyage across the ocean to save her people. Along the way she meets demi-god Maui (voiced by Johnson), who guides her on her journey.

Earlier this week, Johnson shared more Moana content on his Instagram, including the official posters for both the U.S. and around the world.

Moana hits theaters on Nov. 23, 2016.
