Missouri City police officers take children on holiday shopping spree

Houston, Texas (KTRK) -- The Missouri City police department was busy Saturday morning putting smiles on the faces of children.

Officers took a group of 50 underprivileged children on a holiday shopping spree at the Target on Highway 6.

Families in Missouri City go xmas shopping with police officers

Each child was given $150 to shop for toys, clothes and shoes.

Officers helped the children search for gifts and pushed carts.
