Bus breaks down in Louisiana, strands passengers for 9 hours

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Frustrated passengers trying to get to Houston spent nine hours stranded on a broken megabus.

The bus traveling from New Orleans to Katy Mills Mall broke down in Roanoke, Louisiana last night.

Passengers say another bus came to pick up the driver but left them behind.

"It was terrible because you have people thirsty. We have kids on the bus. A girl missed her whole brother's funeral today and an old lady needs her insulin," said passenger Coreyell Johnson.
