Claire Danes and Ewan McGregor took to the Disney Upfront stage to introduce their new Hulu series, "The Spot."

Disney announced what audiences will see in the company's future at the 2026 Disney Upfront presentation in New York City on Tuesday.
Ahead of the event, there was a special opening for the New York Stock Exchange.

Two new series were announced at the 2026 Disney Upfront: "The Shards" for FX and "Count My Lies" for Hulu.
"The Shards," featuring Homer Gere and Igby Rigney is a thriller set in Los Angeles in the '80s, co-created by Ryan Murphy and Bret Easton Ellis.

Faceless dancers brought the drama while clips from Ryan Murphy's "American Horror Story" played at the Disney Upfront, ahead of a surprising cast member announcement.
The FX series surprised fans by revealing that Paul Anthony Kelly, fresh from his breakout performance as JFK Jr. in Ryan Murphy's hit limited series, "Love Story: John F. Kennedy Jr. & Carolyn Bessette," has joined the cast of the 13th installment of the anthology series.
The reveal came as "AHS" fan-favorite cast members - Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Angela Bassett, Gabourey Sidibe, Billie Lourd and Emma Roberts - were onstage, flanked by hooded Druids.
Kelly emerged from the shadows to reveal his addition to the cast, adding "I guess every nightmare needs fresh blood...and thirteen's my lucky number."
"American Horror Story" installment 13 is coming this fall to FX and Hulu.

"Loki" star Hiddleston spoke about his experience with the National Geographic/Disney+ documentary series,"Surviving Pompeii with Tom Hiddleston," while Bettany treated the audience to an exclusive look at his upcoming miniseries, "VisionQuest," coming to Disney+ on Oct. 14.
