Worker crushed to death in industrial accident

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A worker has been killed in an industrial accident in southwest Houston.

Authorities say the man was working at a vacant business property on Beverly Hill Street at Unity. A tractor trailer carrying a backhoe apparently shifted and crushed the man while he was working to release the equipment.

The Houston Fire Department is working to recover the victim. His identity has not been released.
