HPD officer crashes into wall on 610 West Loop

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- A police officer has been taken to the hospital after he or she crashed into a wall on the West Loop.

Houston Police Department said the officer crashed to avoid hitting another vehicle near Post Oak while responding to a call.

The officer was transported as a precaution.

We do not know the officer's condition or the nature of any injuries from the crash.
