HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Houston police have released a composite sketch of a suspect wanted in the fatal shooting of a teen near a north Houston movie theater last week.

It happened about 12:20am Friday in the 12400 block of Greenspoint. Police found the victim, 17-year-old Khalil Brown, of Houston, dead in the parking lot.

An investigation later determined that a possible suspect was in the area, going toward the Premier Theater. That suspect was described only as a black male in his late teens to early 20s and had a wide, flat silver necklace.

Investigators also say there were people in the parking lot when the shooting occurred, and they're urging any of them to contact the HPD Homicide Division at 713-308-3600.

Anyone with information about the case or the identity of the possible suspect(s) is urged to contact the Homicide Division or Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
