HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Whether you're three years old or thirty, it's quit impossible not to have a good time while shopping and playing with the over 3,000 vintage toys at Big Blue Whale Toys & Curiosities.
Located in the Historic Heights, this quaint, cute and fun cool space is stocked with old fashioned pleasures where children and families can enjoy childhood favorites in a colorful, magical and whimsical place.
"What we hear the most, is oh my goodness, I didn't know they made that anymore," said owner, Vanessa Wodehouse. "We really go above and beyond to find items that make people feel nostalgic."
Big Blue Whale Toys carries everything from the Simon Electronic Memory Game that debuted in the 70's to cap guns, metal jacks, Candy Land, and Monopoly in the original packaging-just to name a few.
"It's a place where families can come in and just feel a little lighter and a little silly for just a bit," said Wodehouse. "It's not just a cool space, it's a cool experience."
