ROSENBERG, TX (KTRK) -- A teenage girl was struck and killed by a train in Fort Bend County.
It happened while the girl, between the ages of 14 and 16, was walking on the bridge over Hwy 59 at FM 762.
Deputies say the girl was struck by the train and her body ended up on the northbound lanes of Highway 59. Traffic in the area was at a standstill for several hours while the investigation began.
Investigators say the girl had no ID on her at the time. She had reddish/brown hair and was wearing a sweat suit that had FBI printed on the front.
Deputies are now working to find the girl's family members.
