288 re-opens at Beltway 8 after deadly crash cleared from freeway
HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Highway 288 has re-opened at Beltway 8 after authorities cleared a deadly crash from freeway.
The hours-long closure is now over as traffic begins to move more freely in the area. Traffic had been rerouted onto the feeder as authorities worked the scene throughout the morning.

The Harris County Medical Examiner's Office tells us someone died in the wreck, but that person's age and gender has not been released.
