Ray, his wife Liz, and their extended family asked us to extend their heartfelt gratitude for the prayers of healing and support. #RelationalPolicing
Officer Cervantes' health progress comes after spending more than 40 days in the hospital being treated for the virus.
After being in intensive care and on a ventilator during his stay, Cervantes was transferred to a long-term facility where he continues his recovery.
Additionally, over 31 HPD officers have tested positive for coronavirus.
On behalf of the Cervantes family thank you everyone who have lifted Ray and his family. While he hasn’t completely recovered, he is on his way. #RelationalPolicing https://t.co/VyLklfli3R
