HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A car crashed into a Denny's restaurant this morning in northwest Houston.

It happened around 10am at the restaurant on Airline and North Freeway. According to Denny's there were guests inside injured in the wreck.

Employees pulled out booth seats already and a closed sign is on the restaurant's front door. It's not expected to reopen until at least tomorrow.

Denny's released the following statement on the accident.

"We are shocked by the news of the accident at our North Houston restaurant and our thoughts are with those guests who were injured in the accident. We are assisting local law enforcement with this situation and ask that any further questions be directed to them. At this time, we expect our North Houston restaurant will reopen as early as tomorrow. We apologize for any inconvenience our temporary closure may cause and look forward to serving our guests again soon."
