Former Harris County Pct. 6 deputy constable charged with sexual assault

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- A former Harris County deputy constable has been arrested and charged with sexual assault and may be involved in more cases.

HPD investigators said Brandin M. Glispy, 30, was assigned to a Houston Housing Authority apartment complex when he worked with Harris County Precinct 6. He is believed to have had sexual contact with multiple women he met at that complex.

According to investigators, Glispy spoke with one victim outside of the complex's leasing office on Jan. 6. Later in the day, he allegedly attempted to sexually assault her in the bathroom of a local restaurant, but she was able to escape.

On April 24, investigators said Glispy conducted a traffic stop in the 5800 block of Martin Luther King Boulevard. He allegedly instructed the female victim to drive to a secluded parking lot nearby and sexually assaulted her.

Glispy was terminated from his position with Precinct 6 after allegations regarding the April sexual assault surfaced.

Investigators believe there may be additional victims beyond the two felony cases. One of the alleged victims reached out to Eyewitness News to share her story.

"When I saw his face, immediately I was like he's caught...he's finally caught. The way he came on to me, I knew it had to be something he's been doing because I'm a total stranger. Who goes up to a total stranger and just starts groping them," Ms. Williams said.

She asked that we not show her face or use her full name. She lives in the Long Drive Apartments on the south side and said Glispy stopped her as she walked home from the mailbox in April. He allegedly walked her to her door against her wishes, let himself in and sat on her couch.

"He said come sit on my lap. I was like no I'm not gonna sit on your lap," Williams said.

She said when he got up to leave, he hugged her and started touching her breasts.

"...and proceeded to go down, he touched my buttocks as he grabbed them when he hugged me," she said.

Tiffany Randall lives near the intersection where the assault allegedly happened.

"If there's more victims they all need to come forward and do whatever they need to do to give him his time behind bars, whatever they have to do to get justice because that's wrong," Randall told ABC13.
