HOUSTON (KTRK) -- With more and more stores opening on Thursday, Black Friday shopping may seem to be losing its luster.

However, that's not stopping shoppers were dedicated to find the best deals from waiting in line. For some shoppers really looking for a bargain it's almost a yearly ritual. Take Jennifer Herrera, we found her in a tent along with a few dozen others at the Meyerland Best Buy.

"It's fun, we like spending time with our friends, spending time together," said Herrera. In fact both of her kids and another friend are all spending the night in the early mornings inside the tent.

She is not alone. At Best Buys throughout Houston, we found the smattering of people. Some spent the chilly evening waiting in their cars with their chairs saving their spots. Others braved it out in the tent. Still others literally slept on the sidewalk.

Those who are waiting have less time to do so. The Best Buys will open 5:00pm on Thanksgiving Day.
