DETROIT, MI (KTRK) -- General Motors announced Friday it is recalling 474,000 more vehicles sold in the United States and Canada because of software problems.

The recall includes some of the company's top selling trucks and SUVs, including the 2014-2015 Chevrolet Silverado, GMC Sierra, 2015 Chevrolet Tahoe and Suburban, as well as the 2015 GMC Yukon and Yukon XL.

The software glitch could potentially cause transfer case problems leading to a loss of power, or cause the trucks to roll away while parked, if the parking brake is not engaged.

GM said dealers will recalibrate the transfer case control module software in 392,459 full-size pickup trucks and SUVs in the U.S. and 53,607 in Canada.

GM says no known crashes or injuries related to this software problem have been reported.
