Google's robotic arm, Boston Dynamics has created a robot strong enough to put up a fight against humanity.
In an amazing video, the newest generation of the humanoid Atlas walks on uneven terrain and squats to pick up boxes.
It also puts up with abuse from its human creators and is giving new meaning to the term, "cyber-bullying." In the video, a member of the Boston Dynamics team pushes the robot with a big pole. Atlas falls to its knees, but picks itself up off the floor.
Oh, and the hockey stick guy. Atlas does not have feelings, but it's hard not to feel sympathetic for the robot when it's being teased.
The video also shows Atlas walking through snowy woods. Atlas does stumble at times, but keeps going.
This is the first time we've seen this version of Atlas in action. The previous version of Atlas was unveiled last January during the DARPA Robotics Challenge.
