Thieves caught on video taking $29,000 worth of iPhones and iPads at Apple Store

COSTA MESA, California -- Surveillance video captured five suspects robbing an Apple Store in southern California on Monday night.

The heist involved $29,000 worth of iPhones and iPads that were on display at the retailer in Costa Mesa.

An off-duty police officer shopping at the mall attempted to stop the suspects, who witnesses say fled in a silver Infiniti sedan.

There were no weapons seen in the video.
