Green laser light distracts Brock Osweiler
A mystery is unfolding over a big green laser at the Texans game in Mexico City

MEXICO CITY, Mexico (KTRK) -- Quarterback Brock Osweiler wasn't the only one to notice a bright green laser during the Houston Texans' battle with the Oakland Raiders in Mexico City.

Social media was abuzz after the floating green orb mysteriously appeared on Osweiler's face during the game.

Then, it happened again. And again.

At least several times, someone in the stadium shined what appeared to be a green laser pointer onto the Texans offense, ESPN.com reports.

"There were a couple of times it definitely hit me in the eye," Osweiler said to ESPN. "And it was very noticeable."

Texans head coach Bill O'Brien deferred questions about the laser to security.

Greg Bailey updates us on the MNF matchup from Mexico City.

But even the Raiders said they saw the laser.

Defensive end Khalil Mack told ESPN he thought he was "in the Twilight Zone."

Osweiler said he's never experienced that during an NFL game before.

The Texans fell to the Raiders, 27-20.
