City leaders mark Tejano History Month

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner marked the start of Tejano History Month during a celebration at City Hall.

The proclamation, which was read by City Council member Robert Gallegos, acknowledged the contributions of Tejanos in the state of Texas.

Tejano History Month will go through May 15.
