Crane topples onto Grand Parkway SB at West Bellfort
FORT BEND COUNTY, TX (KTRK) -- An overturned crane is causing a big mess in Fort Bend County.
Officials say the crane tipped over and is blocking all lanes of the Grand Parkway southbound at West Bellfort.
Police have blocked off the Grand Parkway at Bellaire, forcing drivers to turn around. Northbound, however, is still open to traffic.
It appears the crane was either loading or unloading when it tipped over on the back of the flatbed big rig.
We have no word yet on how the crane tipped over or if there are any injuries associated with the incident.
