On Monday afternoon, a body was found near a bridge over a waterway along Fairmont Parkway near Bay Area Boulevard. The remains have not yet been identified.
Texas EquuSearch volunteers have recently been searching in the area for Thomas 'Bud' Yates, 60, who hasn't been seen since January 31. While there is not yet official confirmation, Tim Miller with EquuSearch says the remains appear to be Yates, and at this time, foul play does not appear to be involved.
