We're told a vehicle was going north on Highway 249 near Woodtrace Boulevard when it hit a utility pole and burst into flames around 9pm.
Investigators say it's unclear if the driver was wearing his seatbelt. He is from Bryan, Texas and is in his early 20s.
The victim died at the scene.
