Charles Dyer remains in the Stephens County Jail following Monday's hearing in Stephens County District Court.
Dyer failed to show up on Aug. 15 for the start of his trial. He was recaptured last Thursday in Fort Bend County, Texas, and returned to Oklahoma on Friday.
He had pleaded not guilty to the charge.
The Duncan Banner reports that Dyer's sister -- Amy Dark -- attended Monday's hearing and said afterward that she is upset with media coverage of her brother and has nothing to say.
