Armed robber targets southeast Houston bank
HOUSTON
Around 1:30pm, a man entered a bank in the 1000 block of Bay Area Boulevard and walked up to the teller counter, according to a statement from the FBI Bank Robbery Task Force. The man pulled out a black pistol and demanded money.
The teller handed the robber some cash before the suspect fled in a dark-colored, possibly four-door vehicle.
No one was injured in the robbery, but authorities need help tracking him down.
He is described as a stocky, unshaven white man between the ages of 35 and 40 and is about 6 feet tall. He was wearing prescription glasses during the heist.
